You Cannot Recover Faster Than Your Slowest Supplier

with Harold Nwariaku

DateThursday, November 12, 2026
Time1:00 PM – 2:15 PM

About the Session

You cannot recover faster than your slowest supplier.

What You Will Learn

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify their continuity-critical suppliers using impact and substitutability, not spend.
  2. Score substitutability across the three things that decide it: time to switch, complexity, and whether alternates are able and willing to supply.
  3. Apply two procurement models, Kraljic and supplier preferencing, and find the exposure that neither one reveals on its own.
  4. Convert recovery expectations into contract obligations and evidence, using a tiered ladder scaled to criticality.
